The fuel pump on the 1.6L CDTi engines from Vauxhall is mounted on the rear of the engine and when removal is required for service or repair the pump sprocket must be held in place or the drive chain will drop into the engine requiring an engine rebuild. The Laser 7998 has been specifically designed to allow the pump sprocket to be held and the pump pushed out with the minimum of fuss and work.

Applications: Vauxhall Astra (2013 – 2018), GTC (2015 – 2018), Insignia (2015 – 2018), Meriva (2013 – 2017), Mokka (2014 – 2018) and Zafira (2013 – 2018).
Engine Applications: 1.6 CDTI diesel, engine codes LVK/B16DTR, LVL/B16DTH, LWQ/B16DTC, LWQ/B16DTE and LWV/B16DTU.
Equivalent to OEM EN-50885. For engine timing kit, please see Laser Part No. 6617.
Includes slide hammer to extract the sprocket blanking plate; a new sprocket blanking plate will be required – OEM part number 5557422.
