The newer, post 2013 VW Group TSi petrol engines require a special 4 pin tool to remove the waterpump thermostat without damage.The Laser 7883 is a simple to use 3/8″D, 4 pin key designed to allow removal and installation of the thermostat fitted to these engines.
Coolant Thermostat Key – for VAG
3/8″ Drive coolant thermostat removal key for VW & Audi.
Applications include: VW Group 1.0L 3 cyl., 1.2L 4 cyl., 1.4L 4 cyl TSi petrol engines and 1.4 TDi (from 2013).
Equivalent to OEM T10508.
For removal and installation of the waterpump themostat.
Use in accordance with OEM instructions.
